About the Nursing Program
MaricopaNursing is offered at Scottsdale Community College. Housed in the Health and Sciences Building (HES), MaricopaNursing at SCC is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and is approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Current nursing program options at SCC are:
- 4-semester traditional Registered Nurse (RN) option where classes are offered within traditional semesters, starting every January (Spring semester) and August (Fall semester).
- The Registered Nurse (RN) program allows students to pursue an AAS degree in nursing, giving them the eligibility to apply for licensure as an RN and equipping them with the skills and education to deliver care in various healthcare settings.

Nursing combines the art of caring with healthcare science for one of the industry's most in-demand, high-growth career tracks. Graduates are eligible to become registered nurses (RNs), providing and coordinating care for patients in various healthcare settings.
