The Hartford Apprenticeship Program is an opportunity for students to, simultaneously, work part-time at The Hartford while completing an Associate’s Degree at Scottsdale Community College.

Two Year Apprenticeship and College Degree Program

  • Work 20 hours per week as an Apprentice at The Hartford (100% remote work from home)
  • Earn $22 an hour gaining on-the-job training and experience
  • Attend SCC to complete an Associate’s Degree at the same time
  • The Hartford covers SCC tuition & fees up to $5,250 per academic year*
  • Upon graduation, opportunity for full-time employment with The Hartford with starting salary between $42K - $50K

* Excluding textbooks; tuition benefits begin summer/fall 2023

Eligibility

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA (cumulative college GPA or 2.5 cumulative high school GPA if new to college)
  • Enrolled in an SCC Associate’s Degree program
  • Must enroll and complete INS100 (Insurance Industry Professions) during 2-year degree program
  • Must be able to pass a banking industry background check
