After a successful flyby of Pluto three and a half years ago, the New Horizons Spacecraft had a close encounter with Kuiper Belt object 2014 MU69, otherwise known as "Ultima Thule" on New Year's Day, 2019.
This presentation will discuss the New Horizons mission, its results and the latest from the Ultima Thule flyby, including just released information about Ultima Thule, and featuring special music by Brian May, guitarist for the rock group Queen, professor of Astrophysics and New Horizons science team collaborator.

Planetarium shows are free by reservation and are open to anyone 9 to 99 years old. The Planetarium is in room NS-400, on the Northeast side of the SCC campus.
