Welcome to the Scottsdale Community College campus! This short (6 minute) video was produced to give prospective students and the general public an opportunity to experience our beautiful, 160-acre college grounds.
SCC is the only public community college located on tribal land, home of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the traditional lands of the O'otham, Piipaash and Yavapai peoples. Since opening in 1970, SCC has taken great pride in its partnership with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
Today’s student body mirrors the area’s diversity and rapid population growth. SCC serves about 10,000 credit-seeking students each semester, with another 3,000 taking non-credit courses. The campus embraces the biodiversity found in the Sonoran Desert, creating a serene experience geared to helping students succeed.
While the SCC campus may be temporarily closed due to the global pandemic, students benefit from a wide variety of activities including clubs and organizations, athletics, fitness center, performing arts, student leadership and government, and much more. View all campus life options here.
SCC offers 100+ associate degree and certificate of completion programs available in person, online or hybrid learning options. Prospective students can learn more about SCC here including the steps to enrollment.
