It’s time to show off your school spirit and put on your Artichoke gear for all to see! Scottsdale Community College’s Artichoke Spirit Week takes over campus from Monday, October 21, until Friday, October 25. The entire week will be chock-full of fun events and imaginative ways for you and your friends to celebrate SCC and the best mascot in all of higher education – the one and only Artie the Artichoke!

What’s a birthday party without food, lawn games and music? Join SCC’s clubs and Council of Student Leaders in celebrating Artie’s 52nd birthday.
Tuesday, October 22
Give back to SCC day
Find ways throughout your day to give back to the SCC community. There will be opportunities to join mini community service projects throughout this day. Whether you are an online student or in person, you will have options that fit your needs and interests. This day is all about exemplifying what it means to be an Artichoke. SCC will provide free produce to students to support nutritious food choices.
Content Creation Day
Post your acts of kindness. Create videos, tag SCC and post on social media. Visit TV screens to see content.
Butterfly Tabling Event 10 am - 2 pm SC East Patio
Explore new technologies involved in monarch tagging and learn how you can participate.

Join us for an evening of delicious appetizers and the opportunity to socialize and network with fellow alumni and community members. Then, step into a world of adventure, fantasy, and whimsy as the Scottsdale School of Film+Theatre presents “Peter and the Starcatcher.” The show starts at 7:30 pm
We have free tickets for our alumni to see the show. These tickets are limited and first-come, first-served. To acquire the free alumni tickets, contact the Box Office Manager, Maddie Natoli. Once all the free tickets are claimed, discounted tickets are also available for alumni (use code: ALUM).
