Black History Month is an annual observance in February that honors the achievements, contributions, and history of African Americans in the United States and around the world. At Scottsdale Community College (SCC), Black History Month is celebrated through events, discussions, and programs that highlight the impact of African American culture, history, and achievements, providing students with an opportunity to learn, reflect, and engage with this important part of history.
