Introduction
Welcome to Scottsdale Community College’s Department of Applied Arts and Sciences and to the occupational programs that call this department home. A variety of options designed to fit your personal educational needs are at your fingertips. Choose from our programs of study to access information about Associate of Applied Sciences Degrees (AAS), Certificates of Completion (CCL), upgrading professional skills, and/or special interest classes in our uniquely designed courses of study.
All occupational programs in this department are shaped and monitored by Advisory Committees composed of educators and professionals working in the specific occupational field. This “real-world input” provides students with an opportunity to learn “real-world skills” as they pursue their educational goals. Programs are likewise administered by faculty with firsthand knowledge of workplace demands and standards.
