StrongLife Community Wellness Program Description
The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) StrongLife Community Wellness Program is aimed at a healthy Community in mind, body and spirit through five themes.
- Physical Wellness: Ability to see fitness and nutrition as a core to quality of life of self and posterity. A focus to live light and in joy.
- Family Wellness: Ability to enhance the quality of daily togetherness, gratitude for each other, acceptance.
- Social & Culture: Pride in true identity, desire to learn culture, love of land and people, hold onto tradition and sovereignty.
- Emotional & Spiritual: Acknowledgment of a personal source to a higher power, strength and healing in mental stability.
- Financial Wellness: Planning for financial security, spending control, and maintaining skills for financial stability
Through its partnership with the Scottsdale Community College Fitness & Wellness Center, StrongLife participants can earn their Exercise Fitness Participation (EFP) incentive at SCC.
Earn points to earn cash
Participants earn points through theme activities. Each theme is worth 100 points with the exception of physical wellness which is worth 150 points due to more opportunities to participate actively. StrongLife participants earn points with a cash value of up to $750 per calendar year.
Participants can earn an additional 200 points by completing a Biometric Screening-Know Your Numbers and accomplishing a personal goal, both are worth 100 points each. Earning points begins each calendar year starting in January. Participants can earn up to 750 points equivalent to $750 per calendar year.

Current SCC Student
- Go to the American Indian Program page.
- On the left sidebar, click on SRPMIC only tuition waiver to upload your SRPMIC tribal ID information. You must have your SRPMIC tribal ID and MEID account information. Questions, contact the American Indian Program at (480) 423-6531.
New SCC Student
- First you'll need to Apply as a New Student and follow the prompts
- Go to the American Indian Program page.
- On the left sidebar, click on SRPMIC only tuition waiver to upload your SRPMIC tribal ID information. You must have your SRPMIC tribal ID and MEID account information. Questions, contact the American Indian Program at (480) 423-6531.
